I'm missing this man like CRAZY! I've heard absence makes the heart grow fonder and can say for me it is true :) With a lot of 'issues' going on with my extended family I've really missed having him here to comfort me and assure me that things will be fine :(

I found this picture (above) of my sweet babies and am not sure why I never posted it. Isn't this one of the sweetest images you've ever laid your eyes on?? Avery still beats on Cash but, I know she loves her brother so much...She's always worried about where he's at and what he's doing....She loves her FAMILY.

I LOVE this quote. I LOVE my family.

My mother is THE most amazing person I know. She's dealt with many 'unfortunate' things in her life; from accusations to malicious words of others :( For her to still be standing true to herself and her family is an awesome thing to witness.

....Lastly, my sweet dogs show me every day that no matter how much we may 'bug' each other there are those moments we're 'caught' showing tolerance and love for one another.

True family bonds are the most important bonds we'll make on this earth. It's my belief that you don't have to be of blood relation to make these bonds and call an individual family.

This is Averys outfit the second week of pre~school...
We all woke up late that morning and I was SCRAMBLING to find something for this poor child to wear. I grabbed this shirt, threw it on her and she looks at me and says, "I get to wear pirates today?!" LOL! I said YES! If only you could have seen the pure excitement on her face!

Sunday Morning Thoughts

Harley left for Florida on Thurs. morning...
I'll admit I wasn't super excited about him going on this trip; mostly because of the whole idea of riding a motorcycle across the country bit ;)...

This little girl loves her daddy so much....it's been rough on her without him :(

It's been only a LITTLE different without Harley around. I'm doing a big project while he's away to keep myself busy...I'll post pics when I'm done! (If I can get it done in a week)

I'm really happy fall is here! I'm ready to start playing Christmas music! (don't judge, I know it's early and lame) but, I have so much to be thankful for and this time of year always reminds me of that!

My Little Scientist

Last week Avery had her first day of pre~school and they played the 'hot lava' game...

Harley has been wanting to re~create a Volcano with Avery for a while now so........
We did it! I went outside and got some dirt wet, dug it up, put it in
a casserole dish, brought it inside and molded it in the shape
of a volcano...

Here's the masterpiece! I added baking soda, vinegar, dish soap, and red and yellow food coloring. Avery FREAKED out when this thing started bubbling.
Then I touched it and she REALLY freaked out! SO funny! She kept screaming 'You're
going to get BURNED!
I love that she's in pre~school and learning so much...
I love her :)

Bitter Sweet!

Avery started pre~school today!!

My little girl is getting so big.
She was really excited to get to go to school!

Here she is in front of her pre~school with her bff, Kensie :)

Now it begins :'(...They grow up WAY too fast.

I think it's time to start a 'school work' folder, yeah?
I need to keep track of all her wonderful papers and accomplishments!
