Family Night...

So....
Family Night started out a little something like this...
.
.
This is Avery pretending to be Snoopy while she and Cash were playing before we kicked off family night with a little bit of painting...
.
.




I decided we'd each get a canvas and tape off the shape of a pumpkin and paint them...







It was a BLAST! The kids have been painting a lot of
crafts lately so, I figured this would go along with the trend.

 



....

The kids loved the activity but...

were confused that we didn't rent a movie and

make a treat for family night.

.

We ate packaged cookie-I know-NOT the same.

Either way we have new

Halloween decor and can chalk it up

to a fun night with the family :)

Pumpkin Carving with Grandma Judy :)

Today we headed to Hunstville to do a little pumpkin carving with Grandma Judy...

.

.

She baked cupcakes for the kids to decorate...
There was mostly eating the frosting and candycorn ;)

Harley just hung out all handsome and stuff while the kids devoured sugar.

Avery is a sugar veteran....



He's still being lazy about going to the bathroom in the big potty.
I told him I'd no longer buy him butt cream.
He either needs to go in the potty or live with butt sores from diapers.
He is wearing his sisters underwear because he went potty
in his diaper and got a red bum :(
I told him I didn't pack any Lightening Mcqueen underwear for him because he still goes potty in diapers....Dude was upset but what ya gotta do, man?





Harley carved Cashs pumpkin and I carved Averys :)



It was a fun day at grandma Judys! We fed the horse behind her house,
decorated cupcakes,
carved pumpkins,
ate Judys homemade chili cornbread and mac 'n' cheese,
and (of course) watched Charlie Brown & The Great Pumpkin!

Avery's Pumpkin Painting Party

Miss Avery went around tell her friends that she was having a Halloween Party...

.

I was the last to be informed of this event!

I kept telling her to stop tell people that she was having a party..

Needless to say, I gave in and decided to just go with it...

.

I finally told her she could have a pumpkin painting party if she would quit telling EVERYONE she was having a Halloween party.

She agreed and was sooooooooo
EXCITED!

Let the Painting begin....

Overall it was a success!
The kids had a great time and after painting thier pumpkins they each got a glow stick and Cash chased the girls around the backyard and all through the house :)
Avery told me she was happy she had
a party but, wished that it lasted longer...
She's a funny kid.
She forces Harley and I to have a good time! lol

Tough Mudder 2012...No Joke

Harley, Dave Roskelley and Dave Wright did the

October Tough Mudder 2012...

With temps in the high 40's they rambled on...

It was by far, the hardest race Harley's ever done.

I told him I've NEVER seen him like that after ANY race.

After the race I took him to the Medical tent...

He had a body temp of 91.1 degrees!

Just a tad of hypothermia.

I'm so proud of all these boys :)

They ROCKED it!!
