Easter!

Look at Avery's face!LOL! She's so funny about getting her picture taken...weird child of mine :)
.

Avery got a bunch of clothes for Easter. She's growing so fast I just went all out and got her a bunch of dresses, shirts, pants and socks.
She also got a book of animals and bubbles, of course! :)

She got some summer sandals, too!

My little man that's still to young to care got some sippy cups, clothes and a Noahs Arc baby eistein video....As you can see below, it's been a big day and I think we're all pooped :)

Coloring Easter Eggs!

We actually colored Easter Eggs on Easter Sunday.
Harley had to work so we decided to celebrate the Easter Bunny this morning.
.

Avery loves doing 'arts and crafts' :)
We headed out to grandma and grandpa Roskelley's so I could do some laundry (our washing machine broke :( ) and color Easter Eggs!

I made Avery take her shirt off and put on an apron Aunt Heather made in sewing class :)

Easter egg coloring kits are such a disappointment. I bought some glitter glue to make it a little more entertaining for Miss Aves :)

She, of course, loved them and went to town on her eggs...then when the glitter became boring grandma busted out the stickers ;)

Avery Gave Up the Binky!...

.....With a little help ;)

Harley and I decided with her 3rd birthday coming up this month we should get rid of the binkis. So, we cut the tips off of them, put them in a bowl, showed them to her and told her they were broken....

....She told us to go get her her hammer and she would fix them.
One by one she hammered, put in her mouth and decided, yup, they're all broken :( We told her that she's a big girl now and doesn't need things like binkis...and that if she threw them away we'd take her to the store for bubbles. She agreed :)
.
.
.
That night was a little bit rough and the next day there were a few screaming fits of 'I WANT MY ORANGE BINKI!', which we still haven't found...
.
.
All in all she's been a champ about the whole thing! We're very proud of her and she's doing amazing after giving up her security blanket!!!
