Picking Weeds..

Yes, you read right...picking weeds :)
Every year my mom picks tall weeds from a dirt road by her house to decorate with around her porch.

It's a lot of fun to go with her. I don't have quite the set up to pick some for myself or, maybe I'm just not creative enough but, it's fun to go hang out with her and the kids.

It was a lot of fun on this particular trip because the kids got to sit in the front of the truck and they were in HEAVEN!

Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday with some good friends, Tracii & Andy and their kids...

I'm glad Tracii brought her stroller because Harley and I decided no to bring ours and we probably should have...Thanks, Tracii!

We first hit up the farm animals

Then the kids enjoyed some duck racing.

The slides they had set up were a huge hit!

They had a little place set up with some old school instruments.
The parents all had headaches and the kids had a blast making saweet music ;)

Behind me in this photo is a HUGE bouncy pumpkin where Aves got her jump on.

Harley packed Averys back pack for the diaper bag and wore it most of the night :)...what a good Dad! Cash loved taking the train ride with his Daddy...he wasn't too fond of it otherwise..

Aves and Maloree road in the 'pig' together. Maloree has vampire teeth in. Cute, huh?

We haven't had a pic of all four of us for a while so I was happy we snapped a shot last night!

...can't stop kissin' on my kids!

Avery was CONVINCED she looked like 'Buddy' from Dinosaur Train because the lady painted her face orange :)...none of us had the heart to tell her different.

Tried to edit these photos with Windows Media and it didn't do crap for the red eyes :( ...She's still beautiful C:

This little baby is SO good! Look at that face :)...she was such a quiet, happy, sweet baby the entire night!

I got to hold Charlee on the Hayride to get our pumpkins and she fell asleep in my arms :) So sweet!

For some reason Avery is obsessed with small pumpkins. I don' t know if it's because she can carry them and wants to be able to hold them or what. Either way, it's adorable.

Harley stuck this beanie on his head over his hat so we wouldn't forget it...He's very comfortable with his masculinity.

We had so much fun that we're going to go back and take the grandparents.! ....and we promised Avery she could get her face painted again since she was so upset after we made her wash it off last night before going to bed!

Field Trip!

Daddy finally made it HOME! Hooraaaay!
I had to get my hair done this morning (serious roots happening) so Harley had to take Avery on her field trip today with Mr. Cash! They went to the pumpkin patch :)

Yesterday I took Avery to get a 'pumpkin' shirt. Every time we've gone to the store in the last 2 weeks she's been asking for one so I finally gave in and told her we'd get her one for her field trip since the pumpkin patch was their distination :) She's in LOVE with it...which makes me happy because she can wear it for the entire month of October and I'll feel like we got our moneys worth c:

Mr. Cash got a shirt with a ghost on it and of course enjoyed himself as much as the other kids.

I guess Cash was too intimidated by any of the rides but, Avery wasn't :) (for once)
They both came home with pumpkins and smiles!

This little love of mine was being way too quiet and just as I was about to go upstairs to check on her she comes down the stairs and says 'LOOK MOM! I so pretty :)'
Then she said 'Come here, I put it on you!'...so I bent down and let her apply it to my face as well:) I love kids! Especially my own.

Pumpkins..

OH how I love pumpkins! Every season brings something in particular that I love and fall/Halloween is pumpkins.
.
I want them EVERYWHERE!...and here's where I've started.

For some reason the fall season makes me want to get my 'craft' on C:
I go crazy in my head thinking of all the changes and redecorating I want to do to my house!
I want to LOVE my home and (when dwelling in it) want to look at every nook and think it to be pretty...(I literally lose sleep because my mind won't stop)
.
I have this 'habit' of surfing the net looking at tons of decorating ideas..(like I said mostly in the fall).....
So, I've been painting my kitchen cabinets. I wanted a project to keep me busy while Harley was away on his trip and ended up with WAY more than I bargained for!!!
I wanted to do them 'right' so my mom and my future sis~in~law have been coming up to help me with whatever I need. 'Sigh' I am, however, completely in LOVE with how they're turning out! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
