OOOOWWWWEEEE!
Poor Avery got a big gash on her eyebrow today! She was pushing her stroller off the curb by herself and fell forward and hit the stroller and cut her eyebrow! I'm not sure what cut her but it's a big gash! I want to thank my neighbor, Sarah who helped me get it clean enough to look at it. Then I took her over to my neighbor, Michelle,-I met her at Primarys during my clinicals, she's a Surg Tech-to ask her if she thought I would need to take Avery to get stitches. We decided she'd be ok with a band-aid. Poor thing!! Afterward, I brought Avery home, gave her a bath. She was really good while I tried to dab her cut and clean it up. She kept pointing to my forehead and saying "owee" Then, I put her on the couch with a sippy of milk and some Nilla Wafers-her favorite!

Peaches!
Our peach tree flourished this year! Harley and I actually had to prop up one of the branches because it was touching the ground with all the peaches on it! I had bowl fulls so I decided to make gift baskets for some of my friends in the neighborhood! Now I just need to figure out what to do with the rest of them! YUM!

Lets Get Creative!

Yesterday I caught the "creative bug" and went to town on my upper living room. We haven't really paid much attention to this room because we spend most of our time in the lower living room where the t.v. is;}. Anyway, I decided to take an old step stool that was light brown and painted it a color called "white chocolate". One of the legs on it is broken so I decided to turn it around so you couldn't see that leg and ran into the problem that the back of the stool looked flat and plain to me so, I decided to put a few silk flowers on it. I wasn't sure how it would turn out but, was pleasantly surprised! I actually saw something similar to this done on a wicker basket. Avery wanted to get in on the action and loved these purple mums I got from Wallmart for $1 a stem!!
