The Hunt for the perfect Christmas Tree Extravaganza!

What an eventful day this was! We cut down our Christmas Tree almost every year. It was really hard for us to decide which one this year because none of them seemed full enough. Finally, Harley came across one we could all live with. Avery had a blast just hanging out with her grandparents, aunt, and cousin! The decorating was especially fun for Avery! I can tell I'm going to have my hands full!

New Flooring!

I have been begging Harley since the day we moved int
o our house to put in pergo. My wish has finally come true! The concrete underneath the carpet was really uneven around the edges. We had to put in "fake concrete" called quick dry to make the foundation more even.

Thanksgiving Day at Leos & Judys

Thanksgiving at the in-laws was a fun, relaxing day. Avery got to play with her cousin Kylee and Roxy the family pet. We dressed Avery up in a little pilgrim looking dress that looked so cute on her.The food was wonderful and of course we all ate way too much!

Husband Tagg!

I've been lazy and haven't done the whole "husband tag" thing yet so, I thought I'd better get on the ball.

~How long have we been married? 3 Years

~Whats my name? Depends on the situation. Anything from Dear, Babe, Ang to things like ANGELA!

~How long did we date? We started dating in the middle of December 2003. So about 1 year and 6 months.

~How old am I?
29

~Who is taller? Harley by far! {Harley 6'3", Angie 5'4"}

~
Who can sing better? I'm sure Harley would like to think He does!

~Who is smarter? Depends on what the topic is!lol Harley's definitely smarter when it comes to electronics or anything to do with wires. I'm smarter in the medical field and pretty much everything else!lol;}

~Who does the laundry? We do our own laundry but, I do the towels, Averys clothes, sheets etc...

~Who pays the bills? Harley has me manage the bills.~He still doesn't know how to write a check;}

~Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do closest to the door.

~Who mows the lawn? We both do but, Harley mostly.

~Who cooks dinner? I pretty much do. If I ask Harley to he will~sometimes~ and he's a really good cook so he should do it more often!

~Who is the first to admit they are wrong? I would say me and Harley would say himself! We are both really stubborn.

~Who kissed who first?
I approached him first, talked to him first, kissed him first, practically had to ask him to marry me first!lol

~Who wears the pants? Again, I think it depends on what the situation is. We're both stubborn and both like to be right.

Well, now you all know a little bit more about my darling spouse. Happy Holidays!

HalLoWeEn NiGhT!

Halloween night was a lot funner than I thought it would be! I bought a spider costume from Walmart that Avery would NOT wear. So, the day of Halloween Harley and I had to come up with something. I had purchased her a black turtle neck and leggings to go under the spider costume. We thought we may as well still use them and just find some costume accessories to make her into a kitty. Then, I remembered I had an old bumble bee costume that I wore over 7 years ago. So, as you can see, Harley and I made a bumble bee costume for her to wear and she LoVeD it! She loved the wings. We weren't sure how she was going to react to the whole trick-or-treating thing so Harley went out with her first to get a feel of what she would be like for Heather and Jeff when they came up to take her for some serious trick-or-treating. She was a PRO! She was completely elated that you could go to a strangers house, have your parent say some silly thing in a silly tone, and the stranger gives you CANDY!!! Awesome! I ended up going with Heather and Jeff to take my baby trick-or-treating. Sure enough, Harley was right~we were done way before Avery. Next time we're pulling her in a wagon!

PuMpKin CarVinG!

What a FUN time this was! It's a family tradition at the Roskelleys of pumpkin carving. It seems like it starts earlier and earlier every year! But, thats good because some family members get pretty ambitious and creative with their carving ideas. For instance, Harley wanted to be different this year and do a Harley Davidson pumpkin. It took a LONG time to finally figure out how he was going to carve his pumpkin after printing out several images off the internet. It can get pretty competitive but, SO much fun!

The kids got to make mini caramel apples with sprinkles and nuts!MMMM. They also used marshmallows to dip in the caramel! They had so much fun!
