Hey 'yall! Sorry we have not posted since the end of June! I had a little run in with Qwest and ended up cancelling my membership with them...anyways, we're going to be getting internet next week on Tues. horray! Then I'll be able to post all the adorable pics of Avery cuz I know that's what you people are really looking for if you visit this blog! ;) Harley's been a hard working man the last several weeks! He's been working 6 days a week-12hr days! His only day off during the weeks have been Saturdays. I on the other hand have been a homemaker these last couple months! It's taken me a while to get used to being home but, now I'm all sorts of domesticated! Avery and the dogs of course love me being home! I've started to do a lot of work on the yard and Harley loves it that I mow and today I tried fertilizing the yard!~Harley didn't even think I knew how to turn the mower on! How insulting;) So, I've never not worked outside the home. It has been very different. I read A LOT! I really miss surgery, though. Clinicals were so nerve wracking but, the truth is, there's something about being a part of something so cool! My favorite specialty in surgery was neurology and pediatric urology. Craniotomy's were my favorite type of surgery. When I was at Primarys I did a lot of urology! I hated adult urology at the U but, loved it in peds. The surgeons at Primarys were awesome-for lack of a better word. Working with babies was emotionally hard given their inocent nature but, I loved it.
Avery's been a HANDFUL lately. She's running, talking, screaming, and getting into everything. She loves books. We read every day. She's constantly bringing books to me to read to her. She's turned into a binki junkie!!! I mean JUNKIE! I have to hide the stupid thing in the cuppord where she can't see it. Funny, funny kid.
Harley's gearing up to go on a Harley ride tomorrow with Dave and possibly his dad. He's been riding it to work a lot. I'm glad that the 4 year project of puting the thing together has finally payed off. With gas prices so horrible its really a good thing. He rode it to Boise, ID las summer-that was huge for him.
Well, I have to say hello to Cam and Janica! Thanks for visiting our blog! I'm going to have to write a comment to you guys next week. Jenny, I need you to invite us into your blog so we can leave you comments!
