We went to our sweet friends, Phillip & Carries, for the Superbowl on Sunday. It was a lot of FUN! They are the sweetest people...Carrie is such a good cook and had quite the spread ;)

This is me pre-superbowl, pumped and ready! This shirt I'm wearing-literally-has my name on the tag!! I HAD to buy it. It's awesomely ugly and I am in love with it....and I've been waiting a really long time to wear it! I've lost some weight over these last few months gearing up for races this year! YAY!
...
Meet Phillip & Carrie :) Beautiful couple, eh? I think so, too. Phillip and Harley have been friends since high school. Long time friends that consider each other brothers. I enjoy when we get together with these guys because Harley and Phillip tell all the stories about their history and the Marine Corps. It's pretty amazing to listen to them. There's a mini HBO series called 'Generation Kill' that contains actual events of what Phillip endured during combat in Iraq. He said it's the most accurate portrayal of a Marine....it's rad!...

This is Phillips sister, Rashell and her husband...

So, Harley had to have this tube shoved up his nose and down his throat to his stomach...
He has some stomach issues and his Doc wanted to run a 24hr test on his h pyloric levels and a few others things. He carried around what I called a 'satchel' which basically was a mini computer log so he could keep track of all the events he did throughout the day etc..
...

...
It literally rendered him imobile...and Lucy would not leave his side all day! She would shove her face on his and lick him :) Smart dog.

We were pretty excited whe he got the tube out. Harley's tough. He can handle anything ;)

Just a picture I had to post because it's so awesome. Cash beaming to be hanging out with the fam and sitting next to dad!

Life is funny sometimes. There's always something just around the corner to deal with handle etc.... More and more I'm learning to just take things as they come and make the best decisions for myself and my family! Cutting out the negative and focussing on the good. I find if I just put more of my attention where it counts and quit worrying about things that honestly won't matter a day, week, year from now my days get better and better. Worrying is pointless.
Happy Wednesday!!

you'll find me listening this song the rest of the week ;)
