Having Mr. Cash...

Here we are the night we went into the hospital for the induction! Avery was spending the night at Grandpa and Grandma Roskelleys house...and loving it!
Here I am in all my pregnant glory!

My dear friend Kristen, aka, George came to see us off before we embarked on our adventure.

So...right when we get to the room I get in the hospital "get-up"! Lovely isn't it~

This is the next morning getting ready to go in the O.R. for the c-section. Harley was REALLY nervous.

Here's our baby boy!

Eight pounds even and 20" long.

This hospital stay was totally different than it was with Miss Avery. It was AWESOME being able to hold Cash so soon after delivery and have no complications. He was absolutely perfect and it was great to hear his scream right after the delivery.

I LOVED having this little bundle in the hospital room with me all the time. I know the staff is there to help so you can get some sleep before you go home but, I couldn't help myself. I needed him near me ALL the time!

Harley and I missed Avery sooooO much while we were away. I couldn't wait to see her everyday and missed her so much when she would go to my parents at night. I had to just cuddle her!

Here's our little stud in his hospital bed.

After we got him home we had my parents there helping a lot.

We had to treat Cash with lights for Jaundice.

I hear that most babies hate being under the lights...not Cash! He loved it! I felt like I needed to set some ocean music for him...set up a palm tree...maybe get him a cocktail!!lol

Avery, of course, was very interested in what was happening with Mr. Cash while he was under the lights! She kept peeking her head in and helping feed him and giving him his binki...SO cute!

Happy Anniversary Baby!

Mr. & Mrs. Meyer...

Soooo.....It's our 4 year anniversary!!! AAAHHHH!
Harley and I have had a very interesting...romantic...volatile...fun 4 years. I put the pic of Mr. and Mrs. Smith because I think that their relationship best describes our relationship. Harley and I are both very passionate, bold people...we just show these traits in different ways. Harley's very intense and you can feel the energy buzzing off of him. I'm vocal but more passive/aggressive. Somehow together we make it work....
.
.
I love that Harley's energetic nature gives me more energy...
I love that He knows me soooO well...
I love that he knows how to balance me out...
I love that He supports my hair-brained projects and laughs at me...
I love that one minute we could be fighting and the next we are talking and making up...
I love that he wanted me to have His children...
I love to watch Him fixing things...it's sexy when your man shows you his smarts...
I love that He makes me and everyone around Him smile and laugh...
I love that He chose me...
I love you, BABY!
Happy Anniversary~

Such a proud papa!

Annie West from Sweet yesterdays photography did this photo shoot for us with mister Cash. It was an awesome session and I can't thank her enough for being such an awesome friend and neighbor. We had a lot of fun!

Cash pooped and peed all over me!
I didn't mind...he's too stinkin' sweet!!!

We couldn't get Avery to really sit still long enough to get more pictures of her and Cash together. She was WAY to busy playing with Annies little boy, Jackson...He kept Avery entertained!;}

I love that Annie got this picture of this little stud with his eyes WIDE open! He sleeps so dang much I need proof that he does open them occasionally!

SooooO content!

Cash was 7 days old in this photo shoot. He was really a champ about it. Look at that face! It doesn't get much sweeter than that!

I went in for my induction Wed. night, May 13, 2009 @ 8 p.m. hoping it would go by quickly. I labored all night with the help of Pitocin and ended up having a C-section. The BIG Day!

I would be lying if I didn't say just how nervous I actually am for today. I've been up since about 3 a.m. because for one I can't sleep and second my allergies are out of control! I can't breath through my nose:( I laid back down on the couch around 5 a.m. and got a little more sleep but, certainly NOT enough!
~
Then I hear Harley and Avery getting up and Harley sets Avery down on the couch with me. A few minutes later I start to get up turn around and look at a wet couch and think my water's broke...unfortunately no, it was just a leaky diaper:) Jokes on me. I had already gone upstairs and told Harley my water might have broke...at least I said "might have";} Oh, and my pants were a little wet...
~
I've already had 2 meltdowns and it's only 11:40 a.m. Boy am I in trouble. I'm so excited and scared all at the same time. Harley's been a trooper and let me bawl, yell, and freak out...what a guy! He tells me He doesn't want the day to go too perfect because inevitably something will go wrong...He's usually right. I hope if something does go wrong it's minor compared to what's to come. He's mowing the lawn right now and had to fix the mower once already. Then he ran over a dog toy and the toy exploded and batting went everywhere! It made me laugh...I needed it;}
.
.
Well, off to finish last minute details before tonight!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a great day for Harley and I!
We spent the morning at Grandma and Grandpa Meyers and took Judy to breakfast~then when we got back to the house Kylee wanted to drive Grandpas tractor so...of course Avery wanted a ride too. This made me and Grandma nervous but they did great!

Avery loves Grandma Judy! I think the feeling is mutual!

After becoming a mother myself I have come to REALLY appreciate all the love and sacrifice that my mother had with me and my siblings! Harley and I talk about how poor we were growing up and the things our mothers did for us for entertainment, food, etc...

I love my mother and appreciate all the values and lessons she taught me. I love Judy for helping raise such and awesome guy like Harley! I now know just how much energy it takes to start raising your own family and although it's extremely challenging at times...it is sooooO worth it!
Mothers are great!!!

1 week left!

So, I had my 38 weekly visit to the Dr. yesterday and decided to do an induction at 39 weeks! I'm still a little skeptical about inducing labor but, the more Harley and I talked about it it seems like the best for our situation. Harley is on call Mon. and Tues. for work and 9 times out of 10 he gets a call on Tues. to take a train out of town. It would be our luck that I would go into labor while he's out of town somewhere.
.
.
Onto other news, I'm 3cm dilated and 60% effaced! WOW! We're still wondering if I'll be able to hold off for another week!
.
.
Avery's latest phrases include:
"How you do that?"
"You in time out!"
"OH!"
"Stop whining!"
"Go lay down!"
"Go away!"
.
She has a lot to say lately.
